Background on the Statistics

The statistics presented above were collected using the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). For these graphs and charts we have counted only those unique individuals who have utilized an emergency shelter or transitional housing program during the given time period. These figures do not include others who might be considered to be homeless, including those sleeping out of doors or those involuntarily doubled-up with friends or family.
