Who We Are
The Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless believes that homelessness is unjust and unacceptable. We hereby recognize each individual and family’s right to: stable, safe, and affordable housing, quality medical and mental health care, food, clothing, education and sustaining income and/or employment.
“A premise for our actions: we work to improve society rather than simply aid the victims of society’s mis-functioning”
-Dr. Loretta J. Williams, Director
Gustavus Myers Center for the Study of Bigotry & Human Rights
