President Obama has signed into law the Helping Families Save Their Homes Act of 2009 which will immediately provide protections for renters living in foreclosed properties! Additionally, RI's own Senator Jack Reed's HEARTH bill, which will help communities reduce homelessness across the country, was part of this anti-foreclosure act that was signed. Read more here
