Please find the most updated information on Warming Resources we are aware of in RI below. Some have parameters in which a person is only allowed to come in for a period of time. Always call in advance to obtain guidelines which can change day to day depending on the status of the weather. Please refer to RIEMA’s website for any updates.

Providence Rescue Mission: Will be in "Code Blue" until Tuesday (3/26), meaning they will be open 24/7 and accommodate anyone that comes by, no capacity limit.

Pawtucket Warming Center: Open 24/7. Accepts Individuals and Couples, NO Families with children Service Animal with paperwork accepted 

1139 Main Street Pawtucket, RI

Newport County

MLK Community Center: 20 Dr. Marcus Wheatland Blvd, Newport, RI

7 PM 2/12 – 7 AM 2/13. Individuals can then go to the warming center at 40 Dr. Marcus Wheatland Blvd, Newport, RI 02840 for shelter until 7 PM on 2/13.

 

Washington County/Peace Dale (South Kingstown)

Welcome House: 8 North Rd, Peace Dale, RI

Individuals seeking shelter can call (401) 782-4770 for assistance or come to the shelter at any time.

 

WARM Center: 56 Spruce St, Westerly, RI.

Individuals seeking shelter can call (401) 596-9276 for assistance or come to the shelter at any time. 

 

Providence
